Delivery and Installation
We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver equipment to actual "point of use" rather than simply dropping off to a "goods in" area.
Our experience in overcoming all types of obstacles to ensure an item is securely sited is held in high regard by our customers. It is often the case that our imaginative and versatile approach to the task in hand results in a successful completion to a job that may have seemed impossible to others.
As well as the standard collection and delivery services we provide to many of our customers, we are often asked to site items that may have been left in "Goods In" areas by other carriers. In this respect please see our "
Helping Hands" service.
We deliver to point of use new capital equipment daily, such as; low temperature freezers, clean air cabinets, fume cupboards, centrifuges, HPLC systems, automated robot systems, X-ray equipment, incubator shakers, plus many many more items.
Challenges
Overcoming difficulties with narrow doorways, small lifts, awkward stairways and such like are all part of the service as far as we are concerned. They are
challenges that we look to solve through creativity and determination.
Clean Room environments present additional challenges for the siting of equipment and we provide items such as easy to clean stainless steel plates and skates for specific use on these occasions.
Once the equipment has been sited, our team will remove all packaging materials and dispose of them in an environmentally friendly manner with recycling wherever possible. Card and plastics are bailed and wooden pallets are sent to a
specialist for re-use.
